2014

  • Lowell Financial awarded ‘Exceptional’ three star rating for customer service from Investor in Customers.  It is the highest rating achievable and follows the ‘Outstanding’ rating last year.

2013

  • Lowell Financial was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ two star rating for customer service from the organisation Investor in Customers (IIC) – becoming the first company in our industry to receive such an award. To achieve the award Lowell had to undergo a rigorous assessment by IIC, an independent organisation, which uses feedback from customers, team members and senior management to assess how well a business understands its customer needs and how well it delivers services that meet those needs
  • Lowell Financial has been ranked in the top three credit management and debt collection companies in Europe, in an index prepared by industry consultants OC&C, for the last six years
  • For the second year running, Lowell Group achieved the highest average score across the industry in the Credit Services Association’s Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI). CAI is an online test that examines the knowledge and competencies required to perform the role of a professional collector
  • Fredrickson won the Credit Today Awards category for ‘Treating Customers Fairly – 3rd party suppliers’

2012

  • For the second time in three years Lowell Group won Debt Purchaser of the Year in Credit Today’s Debt Sale and Purchase Awards – also becoming the first company to win the award three times
  • Lowell Group was a finalist for Employer of the Year in the European Call Centre and Customer Service Awards
  • Lowell Group received a National Training Award for the Yorkshire & Humber region for its Future Leaders programme
  • Lowell Group  became one of just 600 organisations nationwide to be awarded Investors In People Gold status. It recognised Lowell’s high standards of people management and development that support its business goals
  • Lowell Group was placed 43rd in the Sunday Times Deloitte league table of Britain’s 100 private equity-backed companies with the fastest growing profits
  • Lowell Group received a best in category Silver Award for ‘Freshest Internal Communications’ at the Fresh PR awards. It recognised Lowell’s commitment to informing and engaging with our team
  • Fredrickson won the Credit Today Utilities & Telecoms Awards category for ‘Treating Customers Fairly’

2011

  • For the fourth year running, Lowell Group was ranked No.1 in an index of all the main credit management and debt collection companies in Europe, prepared by industry consultants OC&C. The index takes into account both past performance and future strategy

2010

  • Lowell Group was awarded Credit Today’s Debt Purchaser of the Year (for the second time) and received the Excellence in Collections Award at the inaugural CCR Credit Excellence Awards
  • Lowell Group was also placed ninth in the Sunday Times PriceWaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100, which ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits

2009

  • Lowell Group was awarded the inaugural ‘Compliance Team of the Year’ award at the Credit Today Awards
  • Lowell Group was awarded Investors in People in recognition of our commitment to developing Better People
  • Lowell Group was placed second in the Sunday Times Deloitte league table of Britain’s 100 private equity-backed companies with the fastest growing profits
  • SRJ won the Credit Today Debt Collections Awards ‘DCA of the Year – turnover less than £2m’

Earlier awards

  • In 2008 Chief Operating Officer Andrew Bartle was awarded the ‘Developing the Team’ award at the Institute of Credit Management Awards
  • In November 2007 the company was named ‘Debt Purchaser of the Year’ at the Credit Today awards and in March 2008 it was recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses after being named ‘VC-backed business of the year’ in the Fast Growth Business Awards 2008
